The chess group meets weekly to play chess socially on Monday afternoons at Hades in Agios Nikolaos. Current group members speak German, English and Greek and we welcome players of all nationalities.
- If you are a visitor to the area you are welcome to join us, but please contact the organiser in advance to ensure that the group is currently meeting (we sometimes stop during extremely hot weather) and that the venue is correct (establishments frequently close with little notice).
- If you would like to learn to play chess then we would be delighted for you to join us. We can arrange introductory lessons once we have a small group of potential new players.
The group has a Facebook page on which you can see photos and look at recent games.
